Ingredients
- 1 prepared pie dough
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1½ tablespoons vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1¾ cup pecan halves
- 1 prepared pie dough
- 3 large eggs

- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 1¾ cup pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place prepared pie dough into pie plate and crimp edges.
- In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add in sugar, salt and spices and blend well. Beat in vanilla, melted butter and maple syrup. Fold in pecan halves.
- Pour mixture into prepared pie dough and bake for 40 – 45 minutes or until pie is set.
- If crust edges are browning too quickly, cover pie crust lightly with foil.
- Allow pie to completely cool before serving.
- Serve with Velvet Butter Pecan & Cashew ice cream.
