Originally constructed in 1817, Ye Olde Mill stands as the charming home to Velvet Ice Cream’s corporate offices in Utica, OH. Drawing over 150,000 visitors annually, this historic site offers a delightful experience with delicious Velvet Ice Cream and prepared meals served in a turn-of-the-century ice cream parlor restaurant. Set against 20 acres of picturesque rolling hills, Ye Olde Mill provides an idyllic backdrop for family fun, reunions, weddings, and more. Join us from May through October to make lasting memories!
- Hours: Tuesday – Sunday (Closed Mondays) 11am to 7pm. Kitchen closes at 6:30pm.

Shelter Houses and Group Reservations

Restrooms: Available onsite
For a perfect gathering, Ye Olde Mill offers shelter houses with capacities ranging from 50 to 150 guests. Enjoy the convenience of onsite restrooms and amenities such as concrete floors, trash cans, electric and lighting. Each facility is equipped with a small grill, and two ponds are available for catch-and-release fishing. To check availability and fees, please call 800-589-5000. Please note that no alcohol is permitted, and the park closes at sunset.
Ponds/Green Space/Playgrounds
Spread across 20 picturesque acres of Licking County, Ye Olde Mill offers ample space for a leisurely afternoon filled with ice cream and fun.
